Responsibilities:
The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant position will perform duties supporting the Consulting Operations department with additional responsibilities as an Office Receptionist. This position is an entry-level, full-time position, M – F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Duties related to this position but not limited to:
· Meet/greet visitors with a high level of professional energy and enthusiasm;
· Receive and distribute all mail and deliveries; order and maintain inventory of office and lunchroom supplies;
· Order food and beverages for meetings, ensuring delivery, set-up and clean-up as required;
· Monitor general voicemail box;
· Coordinate activities around annual Holiday Office Party and assist with coordination of holiday card and client gift activities at year-end;
· Facilities – follow through on all maintenance-related requests;
· Complete expense reports as requested;
· Arrange travel, airfare, hotel, car rental for business travelers;
· Makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling of their own work. Recognizes gaps and opportunities in work and finds a resolution accordingly;
· May work with highly sensitive and confidential information; exercises considerable amount of discretion and independent judgment;
· Work with operations group to track, schedule and initiate standard client reports using Burchfield’s reporting systems;
· Work with Burchfield’s vendor partners to obtain client demographic information (e.g, number of employees eligible for benefits). Maintain client information on behalf of Burchfield’s consultants using Burchfield’s administrative systems.
· Support administrative needs surrounding Burchfield’s consulting engagements (e.g., vendor selection projects), and other related client consulting work;
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Associates or Bachelor’s degree
· 1-3 years of reception and/or administrative support experience
· Strong written and verbal communications skills
· Organized; detail oriented
· Customer service oriented
· Self-motivated
